All right guys...This is really weird to say, but basically, everything here is going to disappear.

I've decided to redo the whole thing, the Artist and I have agreed that we need to think about this a different way. I'm just not satisfied with the story anymore the way it is. It doesn't make any sense, and frankly, the focus isn't where it needs to be.

I've been off in Pokemon World, and Sherlock Land lately, which means I haven't really thought about it in awhile, and as my English professor says, if you set aside something for awhile and come back to it, you notice the flaws. I used to not notice my own flaws because I didn't like criticism. (I was a whiny little brat. Trust me. I know. You don't have to tell me. People have, and since they weren't nice about it, they no longer matter.) It just feels to me like I was too blinded by the aspect of romance to realize my plot was boring and there were holes in the universe.

However, we will be going in a new direction!

First off, forget what you've seen. If you have anything saved, get rid of it. It's worthless now. Trust me. I don't even want to think about it anymore. All of the images on this page now will be gone soon. We're scrapping it all.

Next, it's going to take place in present day. Modern times, possibly somewhere near where we live as to have ease of access to the setting. We feel it's easier to have inspiration if you can actually be where your characters are. They'll all have modern occupations. Plus, this gives the female characters a bit of opportunity as well.

I'm going to focus on plot. Trust me, you'll still be able to ship everyone. It'll just be more subtle. It's not going to be the main focus like it has been in the past. (It'll be there. Trust me. You'll see how I handle it. No spoilers!)

We'll also be moving its main residence to Tumblr since we're mostly there now. This dA will be for bonuses, behind-the-scenes, concept art, character designs, all of the above.

I'm sorry, I'm really excited. I had completely lost inspiration and hated the whole thing. Now there might be some hope.

That being said, I hope you will stick around and see what we do with it, and sorry for any inconveniences. I'll update the journal when we set up the Tumblr account.

ARTIST HERE FOR AN UPDATE OF TOJC AND TO TELL YOU I'M NOT DEAD

Okay, that out of the way, hey, it's me, . I know that your thinking that I haven't updated in awhile, but now I'm here to tell you that your wait is now over~! Yes, the wait for new Caesar pages is now over~! I, , have almost finished the end of Chapter 3 and I have a feeling that I will finish tonight and start working on the black and white pages tomorrow evening Everyone cheer!

Now, with new updates, I'm expecting to see more comments and more favorites! I wanna know what you all think of each and every page! Things like, what needs to be improved and what should be fixed about the artwork. That sort of thing. Just don't go overboard all right? I don't want some huge ass paragraph saying that my eyes are too small or my mouths are way too big, just a small little comment saying 'I like this' or 'I like this, but...' It would be nice to get a little feedback from you all out there. Maybe just a small little input would be nice like on what your favorite part is so far, or what your favorite character is or your least favorite if you really want to say that too ;3

Welp, now that I've told you I'm not dead and ToJC will be updated soon it's time for me to sit down and get some major work done. You all want amazing Julius Caesar action! This is where you're going to get it!

So there's a bit of change in my plans for this month and next.

I haven't been getting enough done and I'm also exhausting myself (which isn't probably a good thing). I've honestly been up to one or two in the morning getting comic pages done and such. So, to help relieve a bit of that stress I will be putting both 'Service' and 'Tragedy of Julius Caesar: A New Beginning' to a stand still as I get Chapter 3: The Past Haunting Ways done. Not only that, but a friend, a very good friend of mine, has asked me to do a project that I'm not sure if I can do or not yet. I couldn't really say no to the offer, giving what he has gone through in the past month or so, I want to at least make him feel a little bit better by helping with this. So if my drawings, comics, or other things are slow this next month I'm working hard on something for a friend so please, don't get up my ass and ask me when this will be done, or why I haven't posted anything in awhile.

I'm taking all my artwork seriously and I need to sort myself out. So thank you to all my watchers who read my journals and understand. For faving my drawings and me and 's comic strips. You guys are really helpful to both me and her and we are glad to know that our comic strips are to your interests. I'll try my best to get all this done and have some new drawings up soon! Til then, keep in touch and don't stop reading!

I don't know really what to say. How's everyone doing out there? Are the watchers still alive?

Anyway, I have a few things to bring up, most of them being repeats of things previously said. However, I feel like we need to stay together. You guys are my Romans, and Romans stick together! ...Mostly...

I put links in our deviant ID/about me section to the "In Character" profiles belonging to Caesar and Antony. They both have Twitter accounts. Antony has a Tumblr (which I use occasionally...), and I even added a Google+ page. It's been awhile since I said anything about them, so I thought that I would bring it back up.

Concerning The Republic, I'll regrettably say that there seems to be a component missing that I can't quite put my finger on. I'd rather you not have to download the software I used to make it, but at the same time, I'm not sure how to rectify the situation. (I'm using big words today, guys. Bear with me.) Legionary Octy-TheDancingQueen and I are going to work on it soon. Those of you who asked to be a beta tester might be asked to see if you can even start it up.

I'm also going to ask those of you who are reading if you would like a character or mention in upcoming chapters. Chapter 4 is in need of people, and since it's a huge party, I'm thinking that we need a couple of you guys to come in. After all, it wouldn't be a Roman party without Romans. I need a name, age, hair color, hair length, hair style, eye color, and a few personality traits.
Here's an example:

Name: Marcus Antonius
Age: 26
Hair Color: Blonde
Hair Length: Long
Hair Style: High Ponytail
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Personality: Hotheaded, caring, witty

For the record, I'm not going to say whether that's the real age I picked for him or not.

I LIIIIIIVE.

Man, you guys are great. I don't think I've ever been happier with human beings. I was in such a rut, but I think that I've successfully made it out. With a little encouragement, I realized that people actually do care about what I do, and I can't believe I forgot. Writers are creatures that are able to make words flow from their brains onto paper or into a text document, displaying what they think and feel in the form of written language. I'm thankful for all of the messages that you've sent me. I would thank you all individually, but there were so many of them. Not all of the messages came from dA either. I received tons on other sites and even in real life. I love you guys. Seriously. ;_;

That being said...I think that there should be a way for all of the readers to be interactive with us. I'm going to say this, and don't you make me regret it! Anytime you're bored, feel free to send me a message! I don't bite, I swear! The only reason I wouldn't reply is if I fell asleep or went off to do something. Yep.

As well as being open for conversation, I figure that maybe there could be an extra bit at the end of the chapters to answer questions or thank you guys somehow. I'm really indebted to you all, so I'm up for whatever. (Within reason, of course...Also within the wants of NeroBarsetti as well...) Still, I'm open to ideas or whatever you want. I'm open to suggestion, so don't sit around and wait for someone else to do it for you! You have to take the initiative! (Antony knows that quite well. )
